At 8 p.m. on September 24, 2009, Pepper, a reggae/rock band from Kona, Hawaii, will perform with Iration and illScarlett at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz on their Back in the Trenches tour. The boys of Pepper are no strangers to Santa Cruz. They’ve performed here numerous times in the past and in doing so have created a laidback local fan base that has proven to be one of their most dedicated. Pepper is nothing less than a crowd-pleaser. With sexy lyrics and song titles like “Give It Up” and “Stone Love,” the band has gained more and more popularity among Santa Cruzians.  

“I love pushing my way to the front, and finally making it, standing directly in front of Kaleo! It's a one-of-a-kind experience,” said Caylee Learn, a dedicated Peppers fan.
